Really? You can't? Why not?I'm starting to hate Inoue. Or Orihime. Whatever you call her. Bleach 84-85 special. Oh, god. 10 minutes worth of her whining is more than enough to last a lifetime. I had great hopes for Inoue way back in the first 15 or so episodes, when she found out she had this cool summoning power. I REALLY don't want to dislike her. Well, 70 episodes on and she still has that same power. Same ability, same stupidity, and I think she's used it twice.Do her boobs need that much support?Yeah, that's it. Now bitch-slap that girl. She's just become the celebrated cheerleader for the show. Argh! When I saw her steel herself in the middle of that whining, I thought, okay, at least we're getting somewhere. When she started whining again. God damn it! Then when she finally uses her power, all she does is shield herself and make that noisy pixie-thing of hers fly around. Felt a bit like winning 10 cents in a lottery, in my opinion. She's better than this. I know it.She needs a slap. And a huge power boost. =)>>> Animania Tags: Animation, Anime, Japanese Animation, Manga, Bleach, Bleach Anime, Orihime Inoue, Tenjou

I managed to sneak an internet connection long enough to post this to the internet. Hope you enjoy it, just four more days till AX 2006!
If you don’t have a video iPod already, this should convince you. One day, I was getting ready to embark on a fourteen hour plane flight to China (my third within the past year). I had finished packing my clothes, thrown some books into my backpack, and laid

Is it really already the end of June? And the summer season gets started tomorrow? Things have been going by much too quickly for me to keep up recently (^^;) Anyways, news, news...Studio Fantasia's New Anime (MOON PHASE)
Studio Fantasia and director Tetsuya Watanabe -- that would be the director and studio that did Kimi ga Nozomu Eien -- team up to bring a new original anime this fall titled 奏光のストレイン Taikou no Sutorein. Mankind has advanced into space, but has split into two warring factions. Sera@Ayako Kawasumi, a member of the Union, finally sees her older brother Ralph again, but he's a part of the opposing army. Even so, Sera forces herself to fight -- will her feelings reach her brother? GuessI'll be looking forward to this one ;)
Hidamari Sketch Anime (MOON PHASE)
The 4-koma by Ume Aoki that's serialized in Manga Time Kirara Carat (Hidamari Sketch on Hatena) will be made into an anime this fall. I know I've read about Hidamari Sketch somewhere before... it'll be going on my list to pick up next time I grab stuff from Amazon :)
Shouji Gatou and Nagaru Tanigawa Discuss Haruhi (MOON PHASE)
Nagaru Tanigawa (author of the Haruhi novels) and Shouji Gatou (Full Metal Panic) discuss Haruhi in this month's The Sneaker. Apparently Tanigawa-san himself is the one who suggested bringing "Asahina Mikuru no Bouken" first, shuffling around the episodes in the anime, and also ending with Yuuutsu. According to an interview with the director, he'd like to make more of Haruhi into an anime, but as of now absolutely nothing is set.
I'd be very surprised myself if a second season of Haruhi isn't made considering how successful it's been (pretty much a license to print money). I'd like to see a second season with Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu as the main story, being a Yuki fan and all ;)

I’ve been posting only summaries and information lately on the anime I constantly blog or love, and haven’t gone much to blogging about anime itself. First off, classes have started, and I’m pretty much forced to cut down on my anime viewing (as if I’d do that), but really, me-time has been replaced with going [...]

06/28/2006 09:21 AM EDTPoll Analysis: Are You Into the World Cup Fever? and New Poll >>
I left this one running beyond the usual 100 but stopped it at a nice number. Interestingly, even though this blog’s audience is 70% American, we see 60% of voters claiming to have interest in the footy World Cup. I thought the game wasn’t all that popular over there. 70 people are miserable folks who [...]

School camping trip episode consisting of several threads that somehow managed to get weaved together. There’s the Becky-Kurumi group, the search for kappa and missiles by Serizawa and Miyako respectively, Rei’s Chinese cooking and Class Representative Ichijou’s rainmaking.
Himeko is Becky’s No.1 Fan!
Suzune Shiratori, ridiculously strong.
Attention aliens, Class Representative Ichijou is watching you.
Another Kurumi angst [...]

Becky springs a next-day test surprise on her class. Their overnight study session inevitably becomes a pajama party. We finally get a chara-stats intro to Igarashi-sensei whom I liked immediately because she is a drunk and a disillusioned teacher. Nowhere as wacky as Yukari Tanizaki but seems to have similar emotional scars regarding her profession. [...]

Just a short follow up to yesterday’s post-
I went down to KKnM today and spoke to the owner of the shop. Apparently she can get it because she has a friend who is living in Japan. There’s no limit to how many figures and address can buy, so that’s why she can take orders. She [...]

I realised something horrible. I screwed up the numbering of the chapters because I accidentally combined #142 and #143. Crap. I’ve made the changes to the previous posts. And here are two more.
#146 - One Hour with You
Tenma, Yakumo and Harima have lunch together. They share some slice-of-life moments and Harima feels like he’s in [...]

The chapter starts with Shuurei waking up to find her royal husband lying on her and of course they are seen, but we know this from the anime. What is different in the manga however is the breakfast after that not so memorable first wedding night.
Shuurei is not sure what happened and desperately wants to [...]

I'm sorry that I haven't been able to update the site in the past few days but I've just arrived in Japan and I'm a bit exhausted. I'll try to catch up with other series as soon as possible. Anyway, this turns out to be very different from the original manga story with only a little hint of the later towards the end of the story. The story seems a lot similar to the original Alice in Wonderland and not as funny as the acid trip that was the manga version. This is a problem for me because I'm one of the few people who never like Alice in Wonderland as a kid. I think the story is annoying and in my opinion, if you're going on a fun, exciting adventure, the last thing you want to see is a bunch of freaks acting pretentious and talking nonsense. This is why I like what the manga's take of the tale because Hatori Bisco made the story a lot more enjoyable.

A quick word on this new (hopefully) reoccuring feature. If you haven't noticed by now, I don't like doing reviews. They bore me, and I ramble on for far too long. But regardless of that, I will be doling out my personal experience with a title, and more importantly, I'll post up some pretty pictures (that's really all you

06/27/2006 07:46 PM EDTHayate Cross Blade - Manga First Impressions >>
So a few months ago, I got an order from yesasia.com which consisted of yummy manga goodness. Among all of these manga was one called "Hayate Cross Blade." Unluckily for me, the manga didn't include any furigana, so I couldn't read it (I'm kinda bad at kanji)! Just recently, a scanslation group released the first chapter of Hayate Cross Blade, so I was able to use that as a sort of script to read my manga.
